The architect fullfilled Ivoirian president’s taste for the neoclassical with this game of columns much appreciated by Felix Houphouët-Boigny.

The dome can contain Our Lady of Paris. It’s a construction very impressive because of precious materials used like marble, precious wood, stained glass window where the president appears, elevators inside  the columns and air conditional . The money came from the state but now the owner is the Vatican. The basilica  is illuminated once a year  for Christmas because its management  is too expensive.
